LPS students' Michigan Merit Exam scores surpass State average
Churchill, Franklin, Stevenson, Career Technical Center, Western Wayne Skill Center, Central Office
LPS 11th graders who took the Michigan Merit Exam (MME) this spring did "exceedingly well," according to Superintendent Randy Liepa. "Not only did they outpace the State average, they also showed a large improvement in just about every category."Eleventh graders take the MME annually, testing in reading, math, science, social studies and writing.

The LPS Foundation is sponsoring Welcome Back to School Socials at all K-4 elementary schools and Perrinville Early Childhood Center. Inflatable picnics and party games are being generously donated by Camp Mirage (www.campmirage.com) and will include an inflatable obstacle course and moon walk.
