When a baker and his wife learn they’ve been cursed with childlessness by the witch next door, they embark on a quest for the special objects they need to make a potion to break the spell. Don’t miss the action, as a lively irreverent fantasy becomes a moving lesson about community responsibility and the stories we tell our children in the CAPA production of “Into the Woods.”
This musical twist on classic fairy tales comes to life at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 16, 17 and 18 at Churchill High School, 8900 Newburgh Rd., Livonia. Tickets are $12 at the door. The production is presented by the Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) program, under the direction of Angela Hillman.
