Students show how they are making a difference
This is the image for the news article titled Students show how they are making a difference Livonia Public Schools is very proud of the more than 1,100 students who participated in charitable projects through the annual PTSA Council's Youth Making a Difference program!

Students of all ages participated in 'giving back,' by selecting a charity or a good deed to complete, in order to make a difference in the life of a neighbor, a relative, veterans, animals and more.

Projects, which were completed over the past few months, ranged from lawn mowing for neighbors, to cleaning up parks, holding bake sales to benefit the Humane Society and much more.

Students documented their charitable work and presented facts, figures, photos and hand-made artwork on display boards, which were set up in the cafeteria at Franklin High School on April 24.  Families, staff and even Livonia Mayor Dennis Wright came to see the dozens and dozens of displays that represented hard work by more than 1,100 students across the district.

Congratulations to all who participated!
