Dr. Jennifer Taiariol
Director of Student Services
Jennifer Taiariol began her career in education in 2003 as a school psychologist. She worked in that capacity for seven years, when she was hired as a program specialist in the special education department. One year later, she was promoted to Coordinator of Student Services. She held that position for four years, before being hired into her current position as Administrator of Student Services in 2015.
Dr. Taiariol studied at Western Michigan University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology, as well as a Masters Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. From there, she went on to Wayne State University, where she received a second Masters in School and Community Psychology, and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology. In 2013, she received her certification for Director of Special Education at Grand Valley State University.
Dr. Tairiol has been recognized numerous times for her commitment to excellence. She received several scholarships and awards throughout her education, has been published in two research journals, and has presented at both the Michigan and National Association of School Psychologist conventions.

Department of Student Services will provide leadership which strongly
encourages collaboration and positive working relationships among
professionals and families to meet common goals. We will strive to meet
unique student needs through data driven decisions, research based
interventions, current technology, and community outreach.
