My name is Teresa Cirihal.  I have the privilege of teaching two orchestra classes at Franklin High School.  Students are divided into a Freshman/Sophomore orchestra and a Junior/Senior orchestra.  The students in both classes will develop and refine their skills in musicality, technical ability, and explore the diverse options of performance music.  We will study classical, fiddle, jazz, pop, rock, contemporary, and multi-cultural music.  Students often have the opportunity to be part of the selection process of performance music.  Our orchestras provide a caring and supportive environment for all students and many extra performance opportunities are available.

This year I am also delighted to be a new staff member of Cleveland Elementary.  I am excited to work with the lower elementary students and provide a fun and rewarding learning experience.  The students of Cleveland will be singing, dancing, and learning through music.  Students will have an opportunity to explore instruments and learn about creating and performing.  I look forward to an enjoyable year!
