Hello, and welcome. This school year will be my twenty-second year of teaching, all of which have been at Stevenson High School.  I am looking forward to sharing my love of America's history with another generation of Stevenson students. I grew up in Livonia and attended Livonia Public Schools.  I am a 1996 graduate of Stevenson High School. In 2000, I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and later earned a master's degree from Marygrove College in Detroit in 2004. 

Beyond my teaching duties in the social studies department, I also serve as Stevenson's Varsity Quiz Bowl coach and as Stevenson's Digital Media Coordinator. I am also Stevenson's unofficial historian and helped plan Stevenson's 50th-anniversary celebration in 2015.

Outside of the classroom, I love to spend time with my family.  My son, Franklin, will be in sixth grade this year, and my wife, Jennifer, is a middle school math teacher in Milan.  As a family, we enjoy traveling, rooting for Michigan sports, reading, and playing trivia and board games.
