Mrs. Julie Bjorklund

Welcome to the 2022-23 school year!   I am thrilled to be starting my 16th year of teaching math at Stevenson High School.  This year I will be teaching Algebra One and Financial Literacy.

Besides teaching at Stevenson, I have also taught in Warren, Oak Park, and two other schools within Livonia (Emerson Middle School and Franklin High School).  After graduating from Franklin High School, I attended the University of Michigan-Dearborn where I earned my secondary teaching degree in Mathematics and History.  I also pursued my master's degree at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, specializing in Middle School Mathematics Leadership.

I live in a very "mathematical home" as my husband Dave is also a high school math teacher in LPS.  My oldest son Tyler is going to be in 8th grade this fall, and my younger son Ryan is entering 6th grade, both attending LPS.

Parents and students should always know what's happening in my classroom by using Google Classroom. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns throughout the year via email.
