Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Jeanne Fuller
Welcome to Kindergarten at Rosedale Elementary School! My name is Jeanne Fuller and I am looking forward to learning and growing with your child this year as their kindergarten teacher. This will be an exciting time for you as your child begins their official journey to becoming a life-long learner. My goals are to spend time encouraging positive social interactions among the students, help them to become more independent during the school year, and nurture a classroom of respectful and caring children along with meeting the expectations of the Kindergarten curriculum. This will also be a year of tremendous academic growth. Your child will blossom into an early reader and writer in addition to building many math skills. We will also explore several topics in science and social studies. I enjoy having fun in the classroom, but also know the importance of creating a structured and organized learning environment.
I have listed my email address and Rosedale’s phone number at the top of this note. Please feel free to contact me if any concerns or questions arise that you would like to discuss. Email is the best way to reach me as I check my email before and after school. I will respond to you within 24 hours.
On a personal note, I have been married to my wonderful husband, Scott for 37 years. I have 3 beautiful children – Anthony, 36, who is married with 3 children and lives and works in Jackson, MI; Melissa, 32 who lives and works in Dallas, Texas; and Rachael, 28 who lives in Troy and is a Pharmacist at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. I have been in the education field for 42 years. This is my 24th year teaching. I was a substitute teacher for 8 years and then took time off to raise my 3 children. I returned to teaching 16 years ago. I have been a Title 1 Interventionist and have taught Kindergarten at 2 other Livonia schools. I feel very fortunate to be here with my Rosedale “family” teaching Kindergarten again this year.
