Mrs. Elizabeth Gostomski

Hello!  Welcome to second grade!  I am very excited to be with the Kennedy Elementary School community as your child’s second grade teacher! I’m looking forward to an exciting year of teaching and a great year of learning!

I am a graduate of Livonia Public Schools (Go Spartans!) and graduated from Central Michigan University (Fire Up Chips!). I have my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education along with a Special Education for Cognitive Impairments and Early Childhood endorsements. I also graduated with a minor in American Sign Language and am conversationally fluent. I also graduated from Madonna University with my Master’s in Teaching Learning Disabilities. As you can see I love to learn! I have been teaching and with the district since 2010.

Community is important as a classroom and each of your students will play a part in developing that community. I want us to become a community of learners working cooperatively to grow and learn. It will be an exciting year as our learning community continues to grow as leaders through the Livonia Community with Character, and the Leader in Me.

Communication is very important to me. Please feel free to contact me at any time with questions, concerns or comments. I check my email throughout the day and that is the best way to reach me. Please understand if you call during the day and I do not answer, it is only because I am working with your students. You can email me at
