Hello Roosevelt community! My name is Mr. Chris Pinta and I am your child's Media Specialist.  This year marks my twenty-eighth as an educator in Livonia Public Schools.  Teaching is very important to me and something I enjoy very much.  Prior to coming to Roosevelt, I taught at both Randolph Elementary, and Johnson Upper Elementary, both in Livonia. I am very passionate about literacy and technology, so being Roosevelt's Media Specialist is something I get excited about and take very seriously.  Feel free to say hello when you're in the building helping out, at school events, or in passing outside during drop off or pick up.  I am looking forward to working with your child this year and on. In addition to teaching, I am an avid golfer, love watching, coaching, and playing sports, traveling, and am known to be very competitive. Check out my photo gallery from our trip to Europe this summer.  My favorite activity outside of school however, is spending time with my wife Amy, an Elementary Support Teacher at Grant Elementary in Livonia, my three amazing boys Brennen, Owen, and Kellen, and our sweet dog Chloe.
