Mr. Ryan Krueger
Dear Families,
My name is Ryan Krueger and I am the teacher in the STEM (Project Lead the Way) program here at Hayes. This is my eleventh year teaching students at Hayes Elementary, and my 25th year teaching students in the Livonia Public Schools School District. Prior to my assignment at Hayes, I had taught fifth and sixth grades at Marshall Elementary, Hull Elementary, and Johnson Upper Elementary for a total of 14 years. Before my arrival in Livonia during August of 1998, I was educated at, and graduated from, Michigan State University, where I earned the degree of Bachelor of Arts, in 1997, with a major in Education and minors in History and Environmental Science. In 2001, I earned the degree of Master of Arts in the field of Educational Administration (once again at Michigan State University), and I possess administrator certification for both elementary and secondary levels. I married my wife Carrie, who is also a teacher in Livonia, in August 2010. We have two sons; Jeffrey, who is eleven, and Jack, who is nine. Our family enjoys traveling to northern Michigan (Petoskey, Charlevoix, Harbor Springs, and “da U.P.!”). Additionally, we have a dog—a big old lazy Doberman named Moose. As you can understand, life around the Krueger home is active!
I am looking forward to an exciting year together.
Sincerely,
Ryan Krueger
