Welcome 1st Grade Hoover Families! My name is Emily Gage and I will be your child's first grade teacher this year! I have been at Hoover since 2019. Throughout my teaching experience I have taught first and second grade. I look forward to sharing my love and passion for learning with your child!

In 2016, I graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a Bachelors in Early Childhood Education and a minor in dance. In May 2021 I graduated with a Masters Degree in Literacy from Madonna.When I am not in the classroom, you will find me spending time with my husband, our daughter Cecilia (Cece), and two rescue dogs; Maizey and Penny! We love spending time Up North on The AuSable River, playing putt putt, dancing, and cooking our favorite recipes in the kitchen!
