High School Summer School 2022

  • Registration for the Summer 2022 program is now closed. Students and parents will be notified by email after July 1 of official Summer School Credit Recovery enrollment. Please check both student and parent email accounts for communication regarding official enrollment and further information. All students enrolled will be able to access their Summer Credit Recovery schedule of classes through their MiStar portal the week of July 5th.

Classes run July 11 - August 11, 2022, Monday through Thursday

    • Session 1: 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
    • Session 2: 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

    Two Course Formats are offered:

    • Traditional in-person classroom instruction (held at Churchill High School)
    • Hybrid online instruction (2 days in-person in school lab, 2 days asynchronous) - Hybrid online instruction will be held at all three Livonia Public Schools high schools. All attempts will be made to keep student at home high school, but not guaranteed due to the high number of enrollments.

Contact the school counselor for all classes needed for registration. Because enrollment is based on a lottery process, it is not necessary to register as soon as the window opens; please wait until you are certain the student has failed the class. Registration cannot be changed once it is submitted. Only one registration per student will be accepted. If more than one registration is submitted, all registrations will be invalidated.

ATTENDANCE: Due to the condensed nature of the summer school program, daily attendance will be recorded and is mandatory to pass and obtain credit.

Classes are dependent upon teacher availability and student enrollment.

    Please email HSSummerCreditRecovery@livoniapublicschools.org with questions.
