We are thrilled to offer district families a series of fun, interactive events on eight Fridays throughout the summer with our LPS Family Fridays program! It is exciting to be able to engage with our students and families during the coming weeks.
Fast Facts about LPS Family Fridays:
- Who can participate?
Any LPS student, including those entering kindergarten in Fall 2021, and their families
- What is the cost?
These events are FREE, including supplies and equipment rental.
- Do we need to register?
Yes. Due to limited space at each event, families must sign up through the associated SignUp Genius, and check in with LPS staff upon arrival at the event.
- How do I sign up?
SignUp Genius links will be sent on the first and last Tuesdays of the month. These events will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. We are unable to keep waitlists for Family Fridays, so if you are interested in an event that is full, please check the signup periodically for openings. Please be sure to carefully read the description of each individual signup, as requirements differ for each event.
- Can I drop my child off at Family Fridays events?
No, adults must remain on-site and with their child at all times.
- What time will these events be held?
Each event has different times. Specific information on times and sessions will be included in the emails with the sign-up links.

AUGUST SUMMER SCHOOL REGISTRATION
August 2, 2021 - August 19, 2021
Course offerings for the August session of the 2021 Summer School program will be Monday - Thursday for 3 weeks from 9:00am - 12:00pm. Classes will be held at each high school (FRANKLIN, STEVENSON, and CHURCHILL) in assigned computer labs. While course work will be done using an online format, students are still expected to attend classes daily in person. All classes will be monitored and facilitated by a teacher within each lab location.
Registration is capped at 50 students per teacher. All classes are dependent on teacher availability.
Due to high demand, once registration is completed students will be entered into an electronic lottery system for enrollment selection. Final enrollment selection will be made once registration is closed to all students on July 14 at 4:00pm. Notification of final enrollment will be sent to parent/guardian email by Tuesday, July 20 at 4:00p.m. Once notified, parent/guardian response is required within 36 hours to hold a student's enrollment. Failure to respond to this notification within that timeframe will result in automatic forfeit of enrollment. Again, all classes are dependent on teacher availability and registration alone does not guarantee automatic enrollment.
Due to the condensed time-frame, completion of all coursework and attendance is mandatory to earn credit for any courses enrolled in. A maximum of two excused absences are allowed, but not encouraged. Failure to meet the attendance policy will result in failure to earn credit. Attendance will be monitored and recorded by instructors daily. Initial enrollment is limited to two courses per student.
Students seeking NCAA eligibility should not enroll in the AUGUST session of Summer School. Courses offered during the August session will not meet eligibility requirements.

Summer SACC Registration
We are happy to announce that we have openings in our Summer Activity Club, also known as
Summer SACC. This summer we are running 4 full-time classrooms. The daily rate is $45.00 a
day per child. A registration fee of $45.00 ($30 for each additional child) will be due & paid
online at the time of registration.
Follow this link EZChildTrack Parent Portal – Quick Start for the billing and registration
process. It includes directions on how to use the new EZchildtrack program. This link will open
for registration on Monday, April 19th from 9:00 am- 6:00 pm, or until filled.
There are five steps to the registration process. Each page will allow you 20 minutes before the system is automatically timed out. You will need your child’s physician’s information and
emergency contact information while registering. If your session is timed out, you will need to
begin the process again. Please note: You will be unable to use your cell phone to register.
During the registration process, on the Terms and Conditions page, you will be asked to click on the "agree button" for each required form. You will also need to complete, download each
fillable form and bring them with you on the first day of camp.
