 Celebrating a birthday at school is a very special opportunity for children.  We like to provide an opportunity for children to celebrate their special day if your family is interested.  Due to a wide variety of food allergies in our classroom and throughout the school, this year Cleveland continues to have  a non-edible birthday treat policy.  Suggestions may include pencils, book marks, silly bands, bubbles, stickers, etc. 

In lieu of a non-edible treat for each child, feel free to have your child donate a book to our classroom library or a board game to our game shelf.  Such donations would be labeled as a donation in honor of the child’s birthday.  If your child has a summer birthday and wants to celebrate at school, feel free to do so on his/her half birthday or on a day in June.
