About Mrs. Skelley

I've been teaching since 2009, but have been a part of Livonia Public Schools since 2012. I've taught both kindergarten and third grade at Kennedy, and previously taught at an alternative online school in the Westwood Community Schools district. I received my Bachelor’s and Master's degree from Madonna University, with concentrations in literacy. I am a firm believer in the power of play-based and hands-on learning.

I grew up in Livonia, starting my education at Jackson Center and graduating from Churchill High School. I currently live in Berkley, MI with my husband, daughter, and our two dogs. I love reading, staying active, home design projects, and indoor plants! Most of all, I love spending time with my family.
