I was born and raised in Michigan and I graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Elementary Education in 2012 and I have been teaching Kindergarten ever since.  I also recently completed my Masters Degree in Reading and Literacy through Central Michigan University. I enjoy reading, running and spending time with my family, friends and husband, ‘Mr. Dan.’  I have a passion for teaching, and I love working with children!  Kindergarten is a very special and important time in a child’s life, and I feel honored to be apart of it.  I believe it is crucial that our classroom community is a place where all students feel safe, valued and loved. I will strive to develop an understanding of your child’s unique learning style so that I can help him or her to become a confident student and powerful independent thinker.  My goal is to create a classroom that is made up of students that are passionate and excited about being lifelong learners in and outside of the classroom.  I am looking forward to a fun year filled with learning and growth!
