Welcome to Reality Literature!

In Reality Literature, we will take a look at several works of literary nonfiction: The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch, The Glass Castle by Jeanette Walls, and Nickel and Dimed by Barbara Ehrenreich. We will also read a variety of articles about issues in society, and write several personal narratives and argumentative essays.

Materials:

• A composition or spiral notebook

• A 3 pronged folder or binder just for this class

• A pen or pencil

• Highlighters
