                                               The Library is Open!
     
     
    Hours of Operation: 
    The library will be open from 7:00 am-2:45 pm.
    NHS Tutoring is available Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 2:30-3:00 (3:00 close time is limited to students being tutored).
    The library is closed during the 4th hour every Friday. This includes all 3 lunches. 
    In addition to electronic or paper passes, ALL students are required to sign in using the Library Sign-in sheet. It is located at the front of the library.
     
    Library Policies:
    The school library is primarily an academic space. 
    Please be respectful of those who are working-keep your voices low.   
    Using the library before school/after school/during lunch is a privilege. 
    Do NOT bring FOOD to the library. Water bottles and cups with lids are fine. 
    Students with food will be asked to leave and may lose their library privileges.    
    Loud/disruptive students will be asked to leave and may lose their library privileges.  
    Chromebooks were made available (free) last school year via a grant.  There are no chromebooks available for individual use. 
    It is the district's IT policy not to service personal phones/electronics. The LMC staff adheres to this policy.  
     
     Passes
    Regular School Day-Smart Pass 
    Patriot Time: Tuesday, Thursday-Flex pass
    The number of students in the LMC is capped using the Smart Pass & Flex Pass systems.
    Paper passes are accepted but may be void if the Smart Pass limit has been met.   
    Paper passes/Smart Passes are not acceptable during Patriot Time. Only Flex passes will be accepted.
     
     
    Phone Policy: 
    Phones are allowed before & school and during lunch, but must be SILENCED.
    Headphones and/or earbuds are REQUIRED. 
    During the academic day, phone use is limited to school assignments. 
    ALL phone conversations (aloud or face-to-face)  should take place OUTSIDE of the library. 
    Students who abuse the phone policy in the LMC  will be written up and will lose their library privilege.

    Printer/Book Catalog: 
    Printing from a chromebook is available. Bring your student ID. 
    Need to find a book? The Destiny Catalog computer is available. 
    Chromebooks are available for individual use while in the LMC.  Have your student ID available.  
     
     
    Study Rooms (2):
    The 2 study rooms are available through teacher sign-out for small group work (no more than 8). 
    Once it has been signed-out by your teacher, ask the library staff for access. 
     
    Green Screen Room:
    The Green Room is available through teacher sign-out for video/audio recordings (limit 2).
    The Patriot News Staff has first priority. Have a staff member check the sign-in sheet for details.

    Classroom Areas: 
    Teacher sign-out is available via the electronic sign-out sheet.
