Greetings Webster Students, Families and Friends!

My name is Anwar Mustafa, and I am very excited to be a part of the Webster team. Although I am new to Webster this year, I am entering my 6th year of teaching! With that said, I am eagerly looking forward to starting the 2021-2022 school year.

My teaching career began in Ohio, where I was also born and raised. I completed my bachelor’s in education at Ashland University and just recently completed my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Bowling Green State University. I taught three years in Ohio following my undergraduate education, and completed the last two years teaching in Chicago, Illinois!

Although I am a proud Ohio native, I currently reside here in southeast Michigan with my husband and our cat, Archie. My hobbies include spending time with family, exploring nature, watching my favorite sports teams, traveling, shopping at Target, and crafting! My favorite colors are olive green and rose gold! I love to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee and eat ice cream! Yum!
