Welcome!

My name is Shannon Thomas and I am so excited to be your child's 2nd grade teacher. This is my 19th year teaching and 13th year at Rosedale Elementary. I have had teaching experiences in K-6th grades and special education. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, Master's of Education in Special Education, and a Master's of Reading Specialist degree. Outside of school, I am very busy with my 8-year-old son and my husband. My son, Kruze is now a 3rd grader at Roosevelt Elementary and visits Mom's school often. I love teaching reading, going to the beach, riding bikes, cooking, gardening, and traveling to different places.
