Welcome!  My name is Valerie Dye and this is my 17th year of teaching in Livonia Public Schools.  I spent my first two years working in the Churchill Transition Program before coming to the Western Wayne Skill Center.  This is my fifteenth year teaching The Supported Transition Program class.  I earned my Bachelors degree from Central Michigan University and my Masters degree from Marygrove College. 

The STP students and staff are out of the building for the majority of the morning and afternoon sessions.  If you need to pick your student up from school early or drop him/her off late, please let me know ahead of time so that I can make appropriate arrangements.  My preferred method of communication is via e-mail (vdye@livoniapublicschools.org), however you can leave a phone message and I will return your call as soon as possible.
