MME (Michigan Merit Exam)

  • The Michigan Merit Examination (MME) assesses students in grade 11 and eligible students in grade 12 based on Michigan high school standards. The MME consists of three components:

    • College entrance examination (SAT)
    • Work skills assessment (WorkKeys)
    • Michigan-developed assessments in science and social studies (M-Step)

    The administration dates for the 2020-21 school year are as follows:

    • SAT - April 13th, 2021
    • WorkKeys - April 14th, 2021
    • M-Step - April 2021
