Deputy Superintendent, Phillip Francis

Mr. Francis has been working in public education since 1995. He has been employed with Livonia Public Schools since 1999. In 2005 he began his voyage into school administration and currently is serving on the Superintendent’s Cabinet, working in Human Resources and Operations/District Services since 2015.

Director of Human Resources, Larry Grezak

Larry Grezak currently serves on the Superintendent’s Cabinet as the Director of Human Resources for Livonia Public Schools. A graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy (1996) with a degree in Business, Mr. Grezak spent eight years in the manufacturing sector as a production supervisor and project manager before transitioning to education. He joined the district in 2008, teaching at Webster, Hoover, and Cooper elementary schools. His leadership journey began in 2013, serving 11 years as a K-4 principal at Coolidge and Hayes elementary schools. Following a short stint in Academic Services, he now leverages his business background and administrative expertise to lead the district’s human resources department.
