Cooperating Teachers
If you are interested in working with a student teacher for the upcoming school year please fill out the cooperating teacher form and have your principal sign and approve your request. Cooperating teachers must be fully certificated and tenured. Only one student teacher placement is advised per school year but exceptions can be made.
If a College or University contacts you regarding a student teacher placement please forward the request to our office. Student teachers who have not been approved by the Human Resources office will not be considered for placement and the College or University will be contacted.
A memo/email with the potential student teacher application will be sent to your principal for approval. Once the application has been received the principal and cooperating teacher will review the application and schedule an interview with the potential student teacher. Once a decision of acceptance has been made, please contact our office.
