Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Alyssa Daoust
I am excited for another great school year! This year I am teaching the Supported Transition Program (STP) course in the morning hours (1-3) and then teaching Technology and Clerical Skills in the afternoon (5 & 6).
Supported Transition Program (STP)
Students will learn work skills out in the community at many different job sites. Our sites include; the Livonia Board Office, Garfield's GSRP, Westland Library, American House Westland, Livonia Community Recreation Center, and the VFW Hall on Plymouth Rd. Students are building their independence, accuracy, and stamina working in the community.
Technology & Clerical Skills
Students are working to build computer skills working with Google Classroom, Doc, Slides, Forms, and Email. Students are working on Clerical Skills including stapling, removing staples, shredding, laminating, and cutting.
About Me:
I am a Churchill High School Alumni! Go Chargers! I currently live in Westland with my dog. Delilah is a 3-legged German Shephard. She is spoiled and thinks she owns the house. During the summers I spend most of my time at my family's cottage, in Tawas, MI. In Tawas you can find me boating, kayaking, hiking, and reading. Some of my favorite things include relaxing, reading, shopping, attending Country Concerts and sporting events, and hanging out with my friends and family.
