Hello, and welcome to my Stevenson High School webpage.  I have been teaching since January 1997 - not all at Stevenson.  I taught two years in Colombia, South America and two years at Churchill High School.  But Stevenson is where my heart is!  I have a taught a range of subjects over the years; including Advanced Chemistry, Natural Disasters, Advanced Physics and Astronomy.  And in 2023-24, I am looking forward to teaching a brand new course for SHS.  We will be offering AP Environmental Science.

I received my Bachelors Degree from Eastern Michigan University with a Major in Earth and Space Science and with a Minor in General Science.  I furthered my education by earning a Master of Arts in Multidisciplinary Science from Wayne State University.  

Beyond my classroom, you can often find me chaperoning Vocal Music and Instrumental Concerts in the PAC and tagging along with the Global Education Program on their international tours.

Away from SHS, I stay active by exercising, playing softball and raising my two kids. We enjoy bike riding, camping and heading to the pool or lake. Oh, and I juggle! Weird, I know.
