I have been teaching in Livonia Public Schools since 2000.  I began my teaching career at Frost Middle School teaching Language Arts, and since then have taught Middle School Language Arts and Social Studies at both Frost and Emerson Middle Schools (for 12 years) and I have been at Stevenson High School teaching World History and Government ever since.  I have two kids (Merrick and Madison) and two dogs (Nala and Lulu).  I enjoy reading (especially historical fiction) and traveling.  I have been to ten countries (and counting!) and I am fascinated by different places and cultures.  I have a camper and enjoy camping a great deal every summer.  I look forward to working with you/your child this year!

I communicate with students regularly via google classroom. (I encourage students to share their log-in to Google Classroom with their parents!)  I am able to post daily activities, homework assignments, powerpoints, notes, video links, etc.  I encourage students to reference this regularly!
