Mrs. Laura Knechtel

Hello, my name is Laura Knechtel.  I grew up in Livonia, where I graduated from Franklin High School in 1988.  Afterwards, I attended Schoolcraft College, Eastern Michigan University, and finally Madonna University where I received my bachelor's degree in teaching secondary mathematics (major) and chemistry (minor).  I earned my master's degree in Special Education from the University of Michigan Dearborn.  I have been teaching since 1995, all of which have been at Stevenson High School!   I have taught numerous classes in my years at Stevenson, but this year I will be teaching Algebra 1 and Algebra 2.
