Hi there! My name is Mrs. Harvey, your child's 6th grade teacher! This is my third year teaching 6th grade at Cooper. I have been teaching for a total of 7 years, beginning by teaching in Detroit, Michigan. I currently have a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in English Language Arts and love teaching Upper Elementary students!

My husband is also a teacher and we have a little girl named Sophia. She is our pride and joy! In my free time, I love to spend time with my family, watch movies and cook and bake.

I look foward to getting to know you and your child! My biggest belief in education is that communication is key! That is between teacher and student and teacher and family. Please do not ever hesitate to contact me in regards to your student.
