Hello! My name is Mrs. Estes. I am very excited to be your fifth grade teacher this year! I am looking forward to getting to know all of you throughout the school year. 

I attended Livonia Public Schools and I am a graduate of Churchill High School. I did my undergraduate and graduate studies at Central Michigan University.  I student taught in preschool, kindergarten and first grades. While teaching in Livonia, I have taught fourth, fifth and sixth grades. I am teaching fifth grade for my 12th year here at Cooper and my 16th year overall. I am very excited to get to know each one of you as a learner and individual this year. I'm looking forward to meeing a great group of fifth graders!

About My Family

My husband, Todd and I celebrated our 13 year wedding anniversary last June. He works as a Vice President of Engineering at EOTech in Plymouth. I have a bonus-daughter, Abby (20), daughter, Marissa (11) and a son, Nathan (9). We have lots of fun together playing games inside and outside, taking walks, going to the cider mill, attending baseball and football games, going to the beach, reading, baking and enjoying time together as a family.
