Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Wendy Curtis

I've been teaching students with special education needs in grades K-12 since 1994. I began teaching middle school students with a variety of needs in a center based program in Boca Raton, Florida. After 5 years, I moved to Michigan in 2000 and began teaching students in Livonia in grades K-6 for the next 19 years. In 2018, I began teaching at Churchill High School in the Resource Room as the Science Liaison supporting students with special needs in all science classes. I love working with parents and teachers to help students meet their highest potential, despite the challenges that come with overcoming difficulties. I have taken an interest in learning and implementing the most effective strategies to assist your child with academic, social and emotional, and behavioral needs. Please contact me if you have questions about your child's IEP or Science class this school year.
