Welcome to our 4th grade class at Buchanan Elementary! Thank you for your interest in our classroom website! Please allow me to introduce myself.

This is my third year at Buchanan, my 23 year with Livonia Public Schools. I was born in Farmington Hills, graduated from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida and received my Master's Degree from Wayne State. I am married to Scott and have two wonderful children, Nicholas who is starting his sophmore year at Michigan, and Jenna who is a senior at Groves High school.

This school year I will work toward building a classroom of independent and respectful learners. My goal for yoru child, is to build a lvoe for learning and all of it's curiosities. Students will be encouraged to approcach new learning with a growth midndset and understand that challenges are opportunites for the brain to grow strongger.
