My name is Laura Allmayer and I'm a third grade teacher at Buchanan Elementary. I am thrilled to be your child's teacher this year! Here's a little bit about me...
I grew up in Livonia and attended Livonia Public Schools. I graduated from Stevenson High School and from there, attended Madonna University. I received my degree in both Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education and my Master's degree from Marygrove College in Educational Technology. My two sisters are teachers and my mom is a retired teacher, so teaching definitely runs in the family! I spend a lot of time with my husband, Dan, our two wild German Shorthaired Pointers, and our son, Ambrose!
I am looking forward to a wonderful school year where students feel confident and continue a love for learning!
