Welcome to Our Class!
This website was designed as an additional resource for students and families. My main source of communication will be through an app that will be introduced at Open House/Curriculum Night.
I received my bachelors degree from Eastern Michigan University with a teaching endorsement in special education and a Masters in the Art of Teaching through Marygrove College. I started my teaching career in Clarenceville School District in 2000, where I taught in a self contained special education classroom for 5 years. I then came over to Livonia in 2005, where I taught in the Center Program. I’ve been teaching at Buchanan since 2017 and I am very excited to get this year started!
Mission for the Class
I believe in a strong connection between home and school. I want my students to feel comfortable in my classroom and know that they can take risks. Students are expected to make good choices, do their personal best, show respect for others, and accept responsibility for their choices.
