Welcome to 1st Grade at Rosedale Elementary! My name is Rachel Riordan and this is my 9th year teaching at Rosedale. I began my teaching career in 1995 where I taught in Dearborn Heights and then transferred to Livonia Public Schools. I have taught all levels K-2nd since then. My children attended Rosedale Elementary as well, so I have a long history here!

This is a very busy year for your child and I will spend a great deal of time encouraging independence, kindness and a love of learning!! I am excited to see the growth your child will have this year and I will spend my days getting to know your child individually.  I am always open to parent communication, so I encourage you to reach out to me with any questions or concerns you have.
