Hello Students and Families,

 My name is Carmen Niemiec and I am excited to be teaching third grade at Kennedy Elementary!  Kennedy is a wonderful school that believes in creating a strong community of learners and I am very proud to be a part of this family.

 I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education, with a major in science and minor in language arts. Later, I completed my Masters Degree at Madonna University in Administration. I believe that we continue to learn everyday, not only from text but from all of those around us.

 I started my teaching career with Livonia Public Schools in 2005.  My classroom experience includes grades first, second, third and fourth.  I have also had experience working with middle school science students teaching summer school and long term guest teacher opportunities.

 I look forward to working with all of you this year!
