Hello, and welcome to my website!  My name is Mrs. Laura Szczembara. I am a fifth grade teacher at Riley Upper Elementary School.  I have been teaching in Livonia Public Schools since the year 2000. I grew up in Livonia, and attended LPS schools K-12. I received my undergraduate degree from Wittenberg Univeristy (Springfield, Ohio) in 1997.  In the year 2002, I earned my Master's degree from Marygrove College (Detroit, Michigan). My husband and I are raising our two wonderful children in Livonia. I am excited be your child's teacher this year, to help your child reach his or her potential.
