Hello! My name is Megan Bruestle and I will be your child's 6th grade teacher! This is my tenth year teaching 6th grade at Riley. I am a product of Livonia Public Schools. I graduated from the University of Michigan and began subbing in the district in 2008. This is my thirteenth year teaching in Livonia. I spent two years teaching Language Arts at Frost Middle School and also taught first grade at Randolph Elementary. I am thrilled to be a part of the Riley Upper Elementary School community!

I fell in love with teaching through my experiences teaching and coaching swimming at Fairway Farms Swim Club here in Livonia. This is my twelfth season as the assistant girls swim coach at Stevenson High School.  

I am excited to team teach with Mr. Stewart this school year! I will teach math and science to our homeroom.  Mr. Stewart will teach ELA and social studies.    

I'm eager to dive into the school year and get to know each of your students. I am confident that it will be an exciting year full of learning and laughter. I look forward to working with you and your children this school year!
