Personal:  I grew up in the Westland/Livonia area and graduated from Livonia Franklin High School.  My husband and I have three sons together.  

College Background:  I attended Wayne State University and majored in mathematics and minored in science.  Afterward, I received a Master of Arts degree from University of Michigan-Dearborn.

Experience: I have been a sixth grade teacher for twenty-one years.  Prior to teaching at Riley, I taught sixth grade for one year at Johnson Upper Elementary and four years at Buchanan Elementary.  In addition to teaching, I served as the sixth grade mathematics leader at Riley for ten years.  Currently, I teach Project Lead the Way (STEM program).

Hobbies/Interests:  I enjoy playing competitive board games, traveling, yoga, and going to restaurants.
