A little bit about myself...
Hi my name is Julie Gonyea and I am beginning my 29th year at Holmes Middle School. I look forward to another eventful year in the classroom and at school activities, where I will learn about you and your interests as well as watch your math ability and confidence grow!
I have been married for 28 years to my wonderful husband, Jeff. We have 2 boys...Zach, who graduated from Central Michigan University with a Sports Management degree and works at Eastern Michigan University in their sport ticket sales department, and Ryan who is working to gain a IT certificate from google.
Outside of school I love to read, scrapbook, vacation (especially in tropical spots where I can lounge by the pool and read), spend time with family/friends, and watch my favorite show General Hospital (which I DVR and watch every single day)! Our favorite family activities are golfing, playing euchre or dominoes, and spending time at our summer place at Sandy Pines on the west side of the state.
