    I am Mrs. Paula Kohler, the principal of Rosedale Elementary. If you are new to our community, you will find that we are a diverse, welcoming, active school. Rosedale is a Livonia Public School, with Kindergarten through fourth grade students in our building, located at 36651 Ann Arbor Trail in Livonia. 

    Please consider joining our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) and support the many great activities that happen each month. There are also opportunities to volunteer, just ask! Please work with your child's teacher to ensure a solid education for your child. Providing time for daily reading and homework is just one way for you to support your child. Our staff is dedicated to our students, living the Rosedale mission each day: We are building a better world, one student at a time!

    I began my teaching career as a special education teacher. Over the years I have also served as a Title I teacher and a 3rd and 4th grade teacher. I have three grown daughters, and enjoy traveling and motorcycling with my husband. My personal motto is to work hard and play hard!

    My years at Rosedale have been so fulfilling and enjoyable. I am here to serve our community, so please feel free to reach out whenever you have a question or a concern. Our staff believes in regular communicaiton with our families and that we are all partners in your child's education.
