Welcome to Room 32

First Grade

Hi! I am Annette Garbutt. I look forward to working with you and your first grader. Before becoming a first-grade teacher, I taught IT (Informational Technology) to LPS 5th graders at Cooper, Johnson, and Webster. My husband and I are LPS graduates; our six children are all LPS graduates and our grandchildren will be LPS students. I believe LPS is a great place for an education!

In my free time, I enjoy "crafting", baking, watching hockey, and reading. I look forward to spending time with my family, especially sharing Sunday dinners. Conversations are interesting, food is abundant and everyone pitches in to help.

Please don't hesitate to contact me!

Our first grade is a ...
Mistake-making, laughter-sharing, independence-building, brain-stretching sort of place where EVERYONE MATTERS!  ©Growing Firsties

Anyone who keeps learning stays young.”     Henry Ford
