Welcome to Second Grade! 

My name is Haley Burns and I am so excited to be your child's teacher! A little bit about myself: I am from Plymouth where I grew up with my six siblings. My husband and I live in Canton with our son and two pets. In my spare time, I play guitar, practice yoga, read voraciously, and enjoy playing video games (in moderation, I swear!).

I graduated from Central Michigan University with my Bachelor's of Science in Education with a major in social studies and history. I also have my Master's of Arts in Literacy Education from Michigan State University. In the classroom, I adore teaching all subjects, but I definitely have a soft spot for literacy and social studies education!
