Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Andrea Anderson
Welcome 4th Grade Families!
Please allow me to share a little about myself. My name is Andrea Anderson and this is my 15th year teaching for Livonia Public Schools. During these years I have taught 1st, 2nd, 4th and 6th. I am very excited to be teaching 4th Grade at Roosevelt! I truly believe it will be a great learning experience for myself and all of the children.
I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Wayne State University and my Masters of Arts degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Madonna University.
I grew up in Livonia and attended Madison Elementary, Riley Junior High and Bentley High School. Not only did I grow up here, but I also raised my family in Livonia as well. I have 3 boys, Ryan, Erik and Jeff...and 3 beautiful grandsons! I also have an English Cream Golden retriever named Charlie. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, reading, running and most importantly spending time with family.
I'm looking forward to an exciting and fun-filled learning experience for child this school year!
I believe education is a very critical part of success. Along with that, I believe that all children can learn and succeed. In order for this to happen, parent involvement is critical. Parent's are a child' first educator and if we work together, it will help your child strive for success.
You can expect open communication and understanding from me. I will be willing to assist you and your child with any educational concern or conflict you may have.
