Hello! I am Miss. McDermott and I am the Resource Room Teacher here at Roosevelt. I grew up in Livonia, attended Livonia Public Schools, and graduated from Churchill High School. My family and friends have all planted their roots in Livonia as have I. I graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelors's degree in Education specializing in Learning Disabilities. I am a certified general education teacher with a passion for teaching students with many diverse needs.

In my spare time, I love to cook, go camping, hike, garden (we have a huge vegetable garden), and spend time with my four-legged friend, Hershey.
