Welcome to Coolidge Elementary. I'm Mrs. Venable and thank you for visiting my webpage!

This is my 12th year teaching and my 2nd year with LPS! I graduated from The University of Michigan-Dearborn (Go Blue!). I live in Southfield and I am married to my husband, Chad. We have a 1 1⁄2 year old son, Zachary. We love to spend time outside and up north! I am a proud former LPS student and graduated from Churchill!

Third grade is an exciting time as children come upon new adventures in  learning. This is a year of important transitions, as well as gaining new skills. I hope to make your child’s learning experience a fun and exciting one, and I hope to instill a love of learning.  So many things happen in Third Grade! In fact, this year will be full of important transitions. It is tremendously important to keep in mind that we all build on small successes. Each child will progress at his/her own rate, acquiring skills as he/she is developmentally ready. Maintaining each child’s self-esteem and building a secure foundation for future growth will always remain a priority in our third grade.
