Hi! I'm Lisa Cleveland. I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! 

I graduated from Central Michigan University where I earned my Bachelor's degree with endorsements in both special education with a cognitive impairment focus and early childhood education. I also have my Master's degree from Oakland University with a focus on Autism.

This is my 11th year teaching; however, I started with Livonia Public Schools in April 2022. I have taught in a variety of settings from resource room to center based over the years. I have also taught preschool, elementary and post-secondary ages. I love working in the world of special education and love being a teacher. I believe that children learn best when they are loved, feel safe, feel supported and are not afraid to make mistakes. Our classroom environment is welcoming, safe, comforting and inclusive. We also utilize Positive Behavioral Supports so we can help each student succeed with individualized support.
