Welcome Randolph Roadrunners to your Third grade learning team.  My name is Ms. Cohan and this will be my 32nd year of teaching. I am looking forward to getting to know each one of you.  I know we will have a great year learning new things.  We will find ways to connect, have fun, challenge ourselves, and build memories.

My philosophy of teaching is that everyone can grow as a learner. I believe in establishing a classroom where children feel safe to make mistakes, ask questions, and work toward personal academic and social goals. I believe in hard work and expect children to strive to do their best. We will work as a team to help each other understand the curriculum.  I will do this by using a variety of learning styles, class tutoring, small group instruction, and formative assessment techniques.  Lastly, I believe school needs to be fun, interactive, and challenging to motivate the students to want to learn.
