Hello Rosedale Families!

My name is Alex Tedesco, and I am the Project Lead The Way teacher at Rosedale and Niji Iro. I have worked for Livonia Public Schools since 2015. I earned my B.A. (2014) from the University of Michigan and my M.A. (2019) from Michigan State University. Prior to becoming a PLTW teacher, I taught 2nd grade for 7 years at Roosevelt Elementary, and before that, 3rd at Garfield.

Project Lead The Way is a new special (in addition to Art, Gym, Music, and LMC), which seeks to provide students with 21st-Century problem-solving skills. Students will construct their own learning by engaging with hands-on materials relating to science, technology, engineering, and math. I am incredibly excited to serve your community in this new role!
